It’s a show about curiosity, discovery, creativity, and, most importantly, pursuing those little things that get stuck in your brain & end up being way more fascinating than you ever expected.

GAVIN PURCELL: Hi there! I'm Gavin Purcell, and I'm the host of a new podcast called Way Too Interested, where I talk to interesting people about something they're fascinated with outside of their normal, everyday lives.

This can be anything: The more obscure, the better! Then, the two of us talk to an expert to learn a whole lot more about that subject.

It's a show about curiosity, discovery, creativity, and most importantly, pursuing those little tiny things that get stuck in your brain and end up being way more fascinating than you ever expected.

Over the course of my career, I've discovered that following these little diversions can have unexpected benefits that bring greater meaning to life. And I hope that listening to this podcast awakens your curiosity and gets you excited to learn new things.

I've got a ton of great guests lined up: Felicia Day, Roy Wood, Jr., game designer Tim Schafer, the New Yorker's Helen Rosner, and a whole lot more. We'll learn about a wide variety of topics, like the real origins of Bible stories, famous Japanese wrestlers, and even garden moss, which is SO fascinating. You will not believe it.

Every episode will have a ton of takeaways, and prove that asking questions and learning things is not only worth your time, but super fun as well.

So, you'll be able to find Way Too Interested on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever else you get your podcasts from. It's going to be a lot of fun, and I hope you come along for the ride.
